The Multi-phase

The Multi-Phase is a long-term photo collection capturing various perspectives from different stages of my life since moving to America. The sky, the sea, and the trees, regardless the creation from mother nature or human's hands, what makes them so when they seem similar to those found everywhere on Earth? I decided to document these natural wonders because each element evokes distinct emotions within me. The sky in Vietnam is seemingly taller and further-reaching than in America, and even the high temperatures between the two countries create unique sensations of heat. This realization reflects a period in my life; I began to sense a different type of warmth from the sunlight after experiencing snow and dry seasons in America. This collection holds a special place in my heart, as my emotions remain constant despite the passage of time. It marks the beginning of my photography journey, as I discovered my ability to capture not just what I see, but also how I feel in my multi-phase life journey.
